My favorite homemade brownies are Betty Feezor Brownies. Betty was the Martha Stewart of our local TV station, and my mom and I watched her on TV and got recipes and such long before that was a hot thing to do. Betty was ahead of her time, and I’ll bet she would have been big times if she had lived in our times. She is now deceased, but I still make her brownies a lot, and I smile when I think about her TV show and also about going with the 4-H group for a tour of the station and how she took time out to show us around.
